Nexif Energy Acquires Controlling Interest in Vietnamese Hydro Power Project
Amsterdam, 16 February 2016 – Nexif Energy, a Southeast Asian independent power producer, announced today that it has taken controlling interest in the 30 megawatt (MW) Coc San hydro power project in Vietnam through the acquisition of a majority ownership of Viet Hydro Pte Ltd. This transaction marks the first project under the Nexif Energy platform formed in August 2015.
Financial close of 50 MW Metro Wind and signing of debt agreements for 50MW Gul Ahmed Wind – two power projects developed by Nexif in Pakistan
Nexif is pleased to announce that the debt financing agreements were signed on 21st February 2015 for the 50MW Gul Ahmed project wind power project that Nexif’s subsidiary is developing on behalf of InfraCo Asia Development Pte. Ltd. (InfraCo Asia) along with local partner for the project, Gul Ahmed Energy Limited. Last week, financial close was achieved on the neighboring 50MW Metro Wind Project which was also developed by Nexif’s subsidiary for InfraCo Asia, this time in partnership with Iqbal Alimohamed and family.
